Today (May 18, 2025), Mr. Pichai Naripthaphan, Minister of Commerce, said that the Ministry of Commerce places importance on developing Thailand's Soft Power, especially handicrafts which have the potential to create high added value and are deeply connected to Thai identity because handicrafts should be something that can be used in everyday life, be contemporary, and be proud of like world-class brand-name products. He wants to see products like Thailand's Louis Vuitton that can be given as gifts to guests. He commended SACIT's development for driving change from local roots to the international level.
